"Painting 4 Paws—Art with a Cause," is an ongoing art project featuring unique animal artwork that benefits animal rescue and welfare groups. The artwork is created with a digital hand-painting process, using photographs as a reference. Finished artwork is printed on artist canvas and hand-embellished with acrylic medium. Even at close range, Karen's work is virtually indistuingishable from work created with traditional art tools. This exhibit will feature more than 30 works, including a painting of "Cheeta," Tarzan's sidekick from the original movies. Cheeta is now 72 years old, and lives in a sanctuary in California for ex-peforming primates.
